Planmeca at Florida Mission of Mercy

The Florida Mission of Mercy (FLA-MOM) is a free, two-day dental clinic for low- and no-income people in Florida. On March 24th-25th, 2017 the #FLAMOM event treated 1,783 patients and provided more than $1.62 million in donated care!

Planmeca at Kansas Mission of Mercy

The Kansas Dental Charitable Foundation’s 2018 Kansas Mission of Mercy (KMOM) project was held at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson on February 9-10, 2018. The volunteer dental professionals at KMOM Hutchinson provided 1,150 patients with a total of $1,396,068 in donated services – including 3,345 tooth extractions and 1,175 fillings – for an average of $1,200 per patient. Planmeca is proud to support this effort.

Planmeca at Louisiana Mission of Mercy

The LDA Foundation, together with partners such as the Louisiana Dental Association (LDA), the LSU School of Dentistry and America's Dentists Care Foundation, hosts Mission of Mercy (MOM) programs.

The location was transformed into a large-scale dental clinic with the purpose of treating adults and children who have limited financial resources or are otherwise unable to visit a dental office. Over two days, volunteer dentists, hygienists, assistants, students and community workers from across the state of Louisiana provided services including exams, X-rays, cleanings, fillings, anterior root canals, extractions and front teeth transitional partials. "LaMOM" is an incredible dental outreach event that takes patients on a first-come, first-served basis until we reached our capacity for the day. The goal is to serve anyone willing to attend and participate.

Planmeca at Maryland Mission of Mercy

Since 1994, Mission of Mercy has been providing free healthcare, free dental care and free prescription medications to the uninsured, underinsured and those who “fall through the cracks” of our healthcare system. Patients are people who live and work among us every day, and we may be unaware of their individual suffering. They could be members of our families, people in our church, or perhaps volunteers within our community.

These are the uninsured or under-insured “working poor.” They could be people who do not receive health insurance at work, and don’t qualify for Medicaid programs, or people who cannot afford their high-cost, out-of-pocket deductibles, co-pays and/or medications.

Since Mission of Mercy's mobile health clinic began serving Maryland and southern Pennsylvania in 1994, we have provided:

• Free health and dental care services to approximately 40,000 individual patients,
• Nearly 195,000 patient visits, and
• Approximately 376,000 Free prescription medications

Planmeca at Pennsylvania Mission of Mercy

The MOM-n-PA mission is a large-scale dental clinic where dental treatment is provided at no cost to individuals who cannot afford dental care. Planmeca is proud to provide our support for the MOM-n-PA event.

Planmeca at Eastern Shore Mission of Mercy

On behalf of the Eastern Shore Mission of Mercy, I would like to thank Planmeca for their support of the event. The generosity of providing 3 panorexes was so appreciated. Don was fabulous during the entire event.

We were able to see 1146 patients over the two days which was the most that we have ever seen.

Our next Eastern Shore MOM is scheduled for April 4-5, 2019.
