The highly popular Planmeca Digital Dentistry World Tour will bring Planmeca’s trailblazing digital dentistry solutions directly to dental professionals again in 2020. Kickstarting in November, the world tour will feature captivating and informative virtual shows in several languages and across multiple regions.
Press release Oct 28, 2020
Planmeca is excited to introduce a series of inspiring virtual events with hands-on demonstrations by international key opinion leaders tailored to audiences in Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia. All tour shows will be streamed online to offer dental professionals a safe way of learning how to benefit from Planmeca’s all-digital workflow wherever they are.
For each event, internationally renowned lecturers will demonstrate how dental professionals can generate more revenue with a completely digital workflow and the latest digital dentistry innovations. Attendees will learn how to easily complete all the steps from CBCT imaging and intraoral scanning to design and manufacture using Planmeca equipment and software.
Dr Zachary Evans will present the digital implant workflow from A to Z, whereas Dr Walter Renne will guide participants through a complete digital smile design case. Meanwhile, Dr Anthony Mennito will use a clinical example to demonstrate how clinic efficiency and patient satisfaction can be improved with same-day single-unit restorations. At the centre of the digital workflow stands the unique Planmeca Romexis all-in-one software platform, which ties together all Planmeca devices and software.
“Since the March launch of our Time to Learn online training concept, we have organised over 100 webinars in several languages. We will continue to offer dental professionals with high-quality online lectures, but also want to provide them the opportunity to learn from hands-on case demonstrations. This is what the virtual Digital Dentistry World Tour 2020 is all about,” Jouko Nykänen, Vice President of Sales at Planmeca, explains.
“The world tour will also offer participants the opportunity to interact with their colleagues and with our Planmeca team in their own language. Because we know time is money, each event takes only about 1.5 hours. Visitors can join the event online in their own time zone and thus minimise their time away from clinical work,” Jouko Nykänen adds.
After the virtual introduction to Planmeca solutions, participants can book a meeting with a local Planmeca distributor for online or in-person product demonstrations and find a suitable solution for their needs.
